By purchasing a bunny, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the appropriate terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
Before committing to purchasing a bunny, please thoroughly explore our website by viewing our "Bunny Care Guide" and conduct as much research as possible. We do NOT guarantee that any bunny will cause zero allergies. No bunny will be 100% guaranteed, all hypoallergenic bunnies are just less likely to cause allergies. ALL bunnies will shed their baby coat and at least molt/shed winter and summer fur. Hay is very dusty and is the main source of allergies, not the fur. Please make sure you are not allergic to hay before adopting. We are not responsible if you are allergic and understand the risk.
All bunnies are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We will not hold or reserve any bunny until a deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due at the time of pick-up. This may be paid in full at pick up or paid overtime. Full payment must be completed before the bunny leaves our premises.
We are committed to ensuring that each bunny is placed in a caring home. If we decide not to proceed with a sale after a deposit has been made, we may decide to fully refund your deposit if the circumstances allow us to.
We are also willing to accept unwanted bunnies to rehabilitate and re-home. Please contact us to find out if we can accommodate this. Returned bunnies should come with their cage and birth certificate. Please note that we may refuse to accept a bunny if we suspect it is ill, as we cannot risk the health of our other bunnies.
You must be 18 years or older to purchase a bunny or have written permission from a parent or guardian.
What does my Bunny come with?
Sales Contract Details: Signing the below sales contract is not required and will be assumed to be accepted, therefore it is important to review it. On the pick-up day, you will have the opportunity to sign the contract in person if you'd like, and a copy will be emailed to you for your records. You MUST sign an agreement for opposite gendered pairs, European Full Import lined Mini Plush Lops and Flemish Giant purchases.
*If purchasing a Flemish Giant you MUST agree to the term below. (you MUST sign an agreement, no exceptions.)*
1. I agree that these rabbit(s) will NOT be used for meat, meat breeding, or meat consumption.
*If purchasing a European Full Import lined Mini Plush Lop you MUST agree to the terms below (you MUST sign an agreement, no exceptions.)*
We sell Breeder Quality bunnies exclusively to established breeders, who must sign a separate "Breeder Rights" contract at the time of deposit and pay an additional fee for rights and pedigrees. We cannot guarantee the quality of any of these bunnies. Starflower Bunny Farm reserves the right to refuse sales to any breeder at our discretion.
Starflower Bunny Farm retains the first right of refusal for ALL our bunnies. This means that if you can no longer keep your bunny for any reason, you MUST offer to return it to us first before rehoming, selling, or surrendering it elsewhere. We may choose to take the bunny back or decline, at our discretion.
When purchasing a European lined Mini Plush Lop and no longer want, or can't have the bunny you MUST return the bunny to Starflower Bunny Farm ONLY. Rehoming the bunny to someone else is permitted after receiving Starflower Bunny Farms' permission.
Once you reserve a bunny, these terms apply:
All deposits are held until the ”ready to go“ date or until our discussed pick up date.*
If communication becomes inconsistent or we do not hear from you within 14 days at ANY point in your reservation, the bunny will be available for others and your reservation will be forfeited. NO refunds of any payments will be given. If you wish to extend/change your reservation beyond the initial pick up date, a holding fee of $10 per additional day per bunny, will apply up to 7 more days. After this, we will have to forfeit your reservation.
Once you select your pick-up date, you are expected to arrive on that date. If you cannot make your scheduled pick-up, you MUST notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in your reservation being forfeited.
In the case of a no-show, the remaining balance will be required before rescheduling a new pick-up date. If you do not schedule a new pick up date and/or fail to provide the remaining balance by 48 hours, your reservation will be forfeited.
**If you fail to keep in contact with us during your reservation a total of 14 days or more, fail to choose a pick up date, no show, or ”ghost” us, we have the right
to forfeit your reservation completely at any point during the reservation.
Please note that all deposits are non-refundable. You cannot move your reservation to a different bunny. If you would like to switch you must forfeit your reservation and place a new deposit.
*If you are not local, and fail to provide information on how and when your bunny will be transported within a reasonable time before the "ready to go" date of the bunny, your reservation will be forfeited. Transport is up to the adopters expense, we will work with any transportation company as best we can but we MUST be informed of the date requested before you confirm with the transporter to make sure we have that time clear on our schedule.
If you are getting the bunny transported via airplane, please select drop off to be at the PVD airport. If you choose BOS, there will be an additional fee and we cannot guarantee that we can travel to that airport.
Starflower Bunny Farm offers a 7-day health guarantee under the following conditions:
Placing a deposit means you (including 3rd parties) have agreed to the appropriate terms.
All the above statements apply to the buyer and any other 3rd parties.
We are dedicated to keeping our bunnies out of shelters and preventing them from being released into the wild. While all sales are final, we are committed to helping you find a new home for your bunny if it doesn't fit well with your family. We will not allow refunds but will exchange the bunny for a different bunny of equal or lesser value. If space is available at our farm, we will take the bunny back and care for it until a new home is found. If we are unable to accommodate it, we will help advertise the bunny and vet potential adopters. We will not pay a rehoming fee for us to take a bunny from you and we will not refund your deposit or payment made for said bunny but, we appreciate any donations to support the care of bunnies we take in during the rehoming process. Any bunny returned to us within 7 days of bringing him/her home can be exchanged at no cost once the bunny is deemed healthy - this is only under certain circumstances. Otherwise, all deposits and purchases/sales are non-refundable and final.
